Grosvenor Whitehaven.

Located just off Wisconsin Avenue at the upper end of the historic Georgetown neighbourhood, the 3300 Whitehaven project envisions the redevelopment of a vacant, five story office building on a 3.15-acre lot neighboring Dumbarton Oaks Park1. The project will retain the existing foundations and below grade parking garage, adding a new, seven-story residential building atop the remaining structure to provide up to 268 residential units2.

Phase 1 of the project, a new 16,000 square foot gymnasium was delivered in late 2023 to the tenant of 2001 Wisconsin Ave NW, The British International School (BISW), which neighbors the currently vacant office building. Once the residential component is complete BISW will benefit from over 34,000 square feet of new indoor and outdoor recreation facilities as a result of the project.

1. Owned by the National Park Service.

2. 15% of the units are programmed to be affordable to households earning 60% of the Median Family Income ($91,250 annually for a family of four).
